I've Seen This Before
Colliers International's Drew Nieman may have just come back from two years in Abu Dhabi, but the Chicago office market is nothing new to the 27-year veteran who's starting a new downtown agency leasing team.

Drew Nieman
Drew just hired his first colleague and is trying to get his first major listing, which should be helped along by financial restructurings like the one at 500 W Monroe this week. He's also helping investors find new buildings to buy so he can take over the leasing once the deal's done. He tells us he always uses Willis Tower as a bellwether for the office market in Chicago. Drew leased the building from 1990 to 1996, and says when it's doing well, so is the rest of the city. After spending most of his career at The John Buck Co, he's been able to reconnect with a lot of old contacts in his new role at Colliers. Drew will also be speaking at the Bisnow Leasing Summit next Wednesday, April 13 at the Oak Room. To hear first hand from him (and the rest of our all-star cast of experts), sign up today.
