Infill retail space is the next big thing, especially in markets with good labor pools like I-88, says IDI's Jeff Lanaghan. Yesterday, he told us IDI signed a new 303k SF lease with JBS Logistics at Building 3 of the Prairie Pointe Corporate Center in Naperville and another 78k lease with Green Sustainable Packaging at Prime Business Park, leaving IDI with just two small buildings vacant in the East-West Corridor. With Naperville and Aurora as the state's fifth and second most populous cities, I-88 always provided a good labor pool for distribution and light manufacturing tenants, Jeff says. IDI has more than 800k SF of total leases this year including hhgregg and MMD Logistics.
