Getting assignments from the Recovery Act isn't so tough if you know the process, say GSA's Charles Hardy and Robert Theel at a panel at the American Institute of Architects last night. Chicago is the HQ of GSA's Great Lakes Region, which will receive $5.5B in stimulus money for contracts on gov't buildings like the Kluczynski Federal Building and 536 S. Clark Street. They encouraged architects to look for opportunities at www.fedbizopps.gov. |
