Senior Housing in High Demand in Charlotte

Work has started on Magnolia Villas at Sharon Towers, which will be 18 independent living senior apartments on three floors. Sharon Towers CEO Anne Moffat, snapped with colleagues Jim Wren and Cynthia McCollough, tells us that Charlotte is a strong market for retirement communities. "The city is attractive to seniors for its many choices in shopping, sporting events, entertainment, and educational and cultural activities," she says. "Quality healthcare is also readily available, which is a key consideration. Then there's the four seasons and the beautiful tree canopy. What else could one ask for in their retirement?”
