Atapco Proposes TOD Apartments In North Charlotte

Placeholder

Atapco Properties plans to develop as many as 280 apartments and 10k SF of nonresidential uses on North Tryon Street, between East McCullough and Ken Hoffman Drives. The development would count as TOD, since it would be on a 4.5-acre site near the future McCullough Station on the Lynx Blue Line build-out that will finish late next year.

The property is zoned for office uses, the Charlotte Business Journal reports, but Atapco has filed for a zoning change. A number of similar projects have been green-lighted or are under City Council review: developments by the NRP Group, Crescent Communities and Eller Capital Partners. [CBJ]
