Charlotte-based Campus Crest Communities plans new projects like this one in Alabama and Maine
Campus Crest Communities has announced two new projects totaling almost $52M that should be ready for occupancy by the 2012-13 school year. Campus Crest is developing the wholly owned properties near Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. and at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. ?As increasing college enrollment combines with limited new supply, there will be an ongoing need for additional student housing developments,? company CEO Ted Rollins tells us. The Auburn property will have 216 units with 600 beds. The Orono development will be 188 units with 620 beds. The publicly traded company builds under a branded model that always incorporates the moniker ?The Grove at…? The complex above is Campus Crest?s The Grove at Huntsville, near A&M in Huntsville, Texas.
