SOUTHERN REAL ESTATE’S PARENT BOUGHT

| Founded in 1889, Southern Real Estate, Charlotte's oldest locally based commercial real estate firm, just expanded its horizons. Its parent, NAI Global has been acquired by Irving, Texas-based C-III Capital Partners. (Terms were not disclosed.) The transaction will help create a ?fully integrated? CRE services company that will operate in markets around the world, Southern Real Estate's Roger Cobb tells us. ?This helps us from a personnel basis and a technology basis.? C-III, through 350 worldwide affiliates, provides primary and special-loan servicing, loan origination, fund management, CDO management, principal investment, title services, and multifamily property management. |
