Retail market improving, according to Marcus & Millichap
But retailers will likely remain cautious in coming months as ongoing layoffs in financial services hinder consumer confidence, Gary says in M&M?s newly released Charlotte 2012 Outlook report. But the recent completion of UNC-Charlotte's $45M Center City Building should prove a catalyst for new construction and retail leasing interest, Gary says.
