NASCAR Hall of Fame; promoter and producer Jay Howard, president of JHE Production Group

Food Lion Speed Street is just around the corner. Literally. The event, now in its 17th year, is relocating the festivities to incorporate the newNASCAR Hall of Fame. The three-day homage to all fast things on four wheels is set for May 26-28 in Charlotte. The Coca-Cola stage, formerly posted at Trade and Tryon streets, will move to MLK Jr. Boulevard between Brevard and Caldwell Sts. at the entrance to the NASCAR hall.

?The new layout will allow NASCAR?s biggest fans to enjoy all the festival has to offer and experience the NASCAR Hall of Fame,? says event promoter and producer Jay Howard, president of JHE Production Group. Speed Street is Charlotte's largest festival and typically draws as many as 400,000 to the uptown.
