CONSTRUCTION ITALIAN STYLE
Construction is under way for a Vapiano Italian restaurant at the South Tryon Square building uptown. David Tschirhart and Adam Williams of Legacy Real Estate Advisors represented Vapiano. CBRE's Mike Lucier represented the landlord.

Vapiano, the international ?fresh casual? Italian-style eatery, is in full construction mode uptown at the South Tryon Square building. At more than 10k SF, it's one of the  largest restaurant deals to land anywhere in Charlotte in at least three years, says Legacy Real Estate Advisors? David Tschirhart. With colleague Adam Williams, he repped landlord MayfieldGentry Realty Advisors. The restaurant is expected to open in June. Vapiano offers freshly made pasta, hand-tossed pizzas, salads and dessert. (Did we mention wine? There's wine.) Cardinal Point Engineering designed the project. The McAllister Group is GC. CBRE's Mike Lucier repped Vapiano.
