Tenants are demanding amenities in industrial as well (though, oddly, bicycle storagedoesn'tseem to be as high on that list as it is for multifamily). Merrifield Patrick Vermillion SVP Billy Thomas tells us that its the basics that matter to industrial users: high ceilings, ESFR sprinklers, drive-in and dock high loading, and a lot of parking. And of course, competitive lease rates. He says those features helped encourage tech firm Mycom Group and health and safety specialist Cardno ATC to ink respective leases for 17k SF and 13k SF at MPVs Whitehall Business Center in southwest Charlotte.
