APTAR PLAYERS "EXPOSED"

What may wind up as a deal of the year was handled behind the scenes by none other than Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer's Warren Snowdon, who says he's already been pictured too often inBisnow so far this year. (We felt badly, so above is just a very good picture we painted.) A 318k SF former Robb & Stucky building in Lincoln County was just purchased by Crystal Lake, Ill.-based Aptar Group for $12M. The company, which makes containers for household products, among other things, plans to invest about $50M in capital improvements and hire more than 150 workers, Aptar?s Matt Dellamaria tells us. Warren repped Aptar in the building sale, but he wanted to make sure we gave ample credit to The Keith Corp?s Alan Lewis, who repped the seller, AEW Capital Management. ?This is a pretty big thing in a really bad economy,? Warren tells us. ?There's not going to be but a handful of these this year.?
