ALL IN A DAY’S WORK
Josh Cooke, Sandy Hulbert, Eric Krejcha and Tony Hulbert of Charlotte-based Hospitality Education Services at Golf Tourney

The skies were leaden but the temperatures balmy earlier this week at Charlotte Golf Links, which drew more than 100 duffers comprising the 26 teams participating in the 20th Annual Springtime Gala Golf Tournament. (We appear to be working on the unofficial BisnowSports page, but we promise it wasn't on purpose.) Hosted by the NC Restaurant & Lodging Association, the event raised about $15k to help support the lobbying group?s Charlotte Chapter and its Hospitality Education Fund, the NCRLA's Tom Stroozas tells us. That's Hospitality Education Services's Josh CookeSandy HulbertEric Krejcha, and Tony Hulbert. (They go around the state helping restaurant owners and food vendors understand the importance of sanitation, food safety, and perhaps dogleg lefts.) Hole sponsors included local restaurant notables like Harper?s Restaurants, LaVecchia?s, and The Penguin, which also was on hand with some burgers  and grilled doggies at the turn.
