The Abbey Group has signed cloud infrastructure and business mobility company VMware as a tenant at Lafayette City Center in Downtown Crossing. The tech company will occupy nearly 38K SF of office space, Abbey announced Monday.

“This transaction further solidifies LCC’s reputation as a major attraction for innovative world-class tech tenants in a growing district that is hot and high energy,” JLL Managing Director Tom O’Regan said in a statement. JLL serves as the leasing and marketing agent for LCC.

Other tenants in the building include Sonos and Carbonite.

VMware is expected to move into its space in September.
