Over 28,000 Sq Ft of Leases Completed at 180 Maiden, Amenity Upgrades Underway
BISWIRE/July 21, 2023 — Clarion Partners, LaSalle Investment Management and Banyan Street Capital announced the signing of three new leases at 180 Maiden Lane in Lower Manhattan totaling 28,385 square feet, including new tenant Basis Investment Group (BIG) relocating from 75 Broad Street.
Basis, a CRE Investment platform founded in 2009. will occupy 10,091 square feet on the 32nd floor of the 41-story waterfront tower. Design firm Walter P Moore will relocate to 11,719-square feet on the 32nd floor, expanding an additional 2,193 square feet. Financial services firm Royal Funding Group signed for 6,575 square feet on the 10th floor, also taking 2,008 square feet of additional space. Although specific lease terms were not disclosed, asking rents on the deals ranged from $58 to $65 per square foot.
Ownership was represented by the Cushman & Wakefield team of Tara Stacom, Rob Lowe, Justin Royce, Frank Cento, and Connor Daugstrup, along with JLR Realty Inc.’s Jesse Rubens in all transactions. Basis Investment Group was represented by Shawna Menifee from Integrative Partners, Walter P Moore was repped by the Cushman & Wakefield team of Trey Shake, Rob Lowe, and Nikki Dysenchuk, while Travis Egenberg of Norman Bobrow represented Royal Funding Group.
