New Life at Charles Center

Baltimore Office
Placeholder

Artemis Properties’ Dave Johnson will soon announce the first new Charles Center tenants that aren’t professional services firms—but rather young and growing companies. (He’s snapped at last week’s Downtown Partnership of Baltimore annual meeting with Niles Barton & Wilmer’s Rachel Severance and real estate chair Matthew Kimball and DPB’s Bob Dengler.) Assets in the area are starting to turn, he tells us, and investors are showing renewed interest.

The Shelter Group’s Kristian Spannhake works on his fastball at Artemis’ pitching booth at the DPB annual meeting. The ULI Baltimore Young Leaders Group co-chair by night spends his days working on the development of seniors communities in New York and Virginia and an affordable housing community on the Eastern Shore. He’s got a full social schedule: headed to the ULI WaveMaker Awards at Horseshoe Casino tonight and an Orioles/Royals game or two over the weekend, not to mention getting married next spring to Cross Street Partners’ Meghan Walsh.
