City Approves Redevelopment of Former Pemco Site

Placeholder

The Baltimore City Council has given zoning approval to transform the former Pemco Corp industrial site at 3610 Eastern Ave into a mixed-use development. MCB Real Estate will spend $80M to $100M to redevelop the 20-acre site across from Johns Hopkins Bayview, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. It may include a major grocer and several retailers, like McHenry Row, or it could hold additional residential units instead of the anchor grocer. The city's Urban Design and Architecture Review Panel approved the plans in the fall. [BBJ]
