The New Hampton By Hilton Location In Baltimore Near Johns Hopkins Bayview

Hampton by Hilton has chosen Baltimore as ground zero for the next phase of its brand's identity.

The chain opened a new Hampton Inn by Hilton location on 6571 Eastern Ave. near the Johns Hopkins Hospital Bayview Campus Monday, the first to incorporate elements of the brand's new design "prototype" anywhere in the world.

The paint scheme, "signature fin" design, porte-cochère and exterior accent lighting are all firsts for a Hampton location. The full prototype also includes interior technological advancements, but the 115-room iteration in Baltimore will not, as it is not a complete example of the prototype, a spokesperson told Bisnow.

Situated just to the northeast of the emergent Canton neighborhood, the hotel was developed by Bayview Hotel Partners LLC, which retains ownership and have brought on The Cherry Cove Group to manage the property.

The hotel contains an indoor pool, hot and to-go breakfasts, Hilton Digital Key room entry and meeting space. It will also operate a shuttle to and from Hopkins Bayview.
