Kevin Kamenetz, Howard Brown, Kennth Oliver, Tim Campbell, and David Adler at Metro Centre, Owings Mills, on July 17, 2012
At Owings Mills Transit LLC's groundbreaking on three buildings at Metro Centre on Tuesday: County Exec Kevin Kamenetz, Davis S. Brown Enterprises chair Howard Brown, County Councilman Kenneth Oliver, Stevenson University's Tim Campbell, and Howard's grandson David Adler. What started are two five-story buildings totaling 28k SF of retail and 120 market-rate apartments and a four-story, 200k SF Class-A office building. They'll deliver early next year. To follow are another 1M SF of office, 272k SF of retail, and 1,580 apartments. A 120k SF building for the Baltimore County Public Library and the Community College of Baltimore is already under construction. (Educational real estate development, along with art collecting, are Howard's hobbies.)
