Harkins Builders' B'more Digs

Baltimore

Harkins Builders CEO Dick Lombardo's and Chesapeake Realty Partners CEO Larry Macks' futures are so bright, they have to wear shades now that the companies have started two significant market-rate apartment projects. The Winthrop in Towson broke ground on Oct. 15 with 295 luxury apartments, controlled-access parking for 509 cars so residents can park on the level where they live, and extensive amenities in both the apartments and common areas. Chesapeake Realty is also a partner on Harford County's Reserve at Riverside, where Harkins is building the 188-unit Phase 2 garden apartments. Harkins is a major player in the affordable housing market, too, named Partner of the Year at the Maryland Governor's Housing Conference on Sept. 27. More about our sponsor, Harkins Builders, here.
