Boscov's Glen Burnie
AiNET is opening a 275k SF data center called CyberNAP in the old Marley Station Boscov's in Glen Burnie, near Fort Meade. KLNB Retail's Gil Neuman, who repped the buyer with colleague Chuck Breitenother, told us yesterday that AiNET firm bought the property from GGP, which had acquired it and the White Marsh and Owings Mills Boscov's stores from a special servicer. Gil points out the markdown: The property had a $17M loan on it and sold for $1.5M, or $5.75/SF. Boscov's announced bankruptcy and closed 10 stores back in '08, including these three. (We think ever data center should have at least one Orange Julius.)
