BIG INDUSTRIAL DEAL
Cassidy Turley, Jarred Testa, Cimino's Office Systems, Prudential Real Estate Investors, Chesapeake Real Estate Group, Ed Brady, Jim Lighthizer, industrial, lease, White Marsh, Class A, shortage, regulations, uncertainty
This week, Cassidy Turley's Jarred Testa repped Cimino's Office Systems in its 26k SF lease at 1405 Tangier Rd in White Marsh (landlord Prudential Real Estate Investors was repped by Chesapeake Real Estate Group's Ed Brady and Jim Lighthizer). He tells us Class-A availability along the B-W Corridor is waning. "A theme during the recession has been a flight to quality," he says. "Combined with a lack of new construction, there's a shortage of core, Class-A space in Baltimore's industrial market." Broadly speaking, activity is up, Jarred tells us, but uncertainty is causing many tenants to put final decisions on hold. "Businesses are waiting to see how new regulations in healthcare and other areas are going to impact bottom lines," he says.
