CoreNet, Chicago, Kenneth Rudy, Jones Lang LaSalle, technology, efficiency, global survey
CoreNet's Global Summit took over Chicago's Navy Pier this week, and the words on everyone's lips were technology and efficiency. Jones Lang LaSalle's Kenneth Rudy released a global survey which showed 79% of end users have already implemented or are in some stage of implementing a mobility program. This will eventually lead to fewer office workers occupying space and reduce office growth over the coming years.
CoreNet, Richard Kadzis, upskilling, multi-tasker, skilled, real estate cost
Upskilling, or bringing in talented multi-taskers, will help CRE decision-makers reach their goals, says CoreNet's Richard Kadzis(who appears to be rather thirsty). Soon, corporations will be looking to balance people, place, and technology to reduce real estate costs and space. The 18% increase in corporate profits over the last year will be spent about equally among those three factors, he says.
