RH CEO: Buckhead Flagship Store Doing Great

Restoration Hardware's flagship Buckhead store is apparently a home run for the retailer. Restoration developed and opened RH Atlanta, The Gallery, last year, renovating the former 70k SF ESPN Zone restaurant. “I'm also pleased to report that our first Next Generation Gallery that opened last year in Atlanta is comping up strongly now that the store has come up against its one-year anniversary,” Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman told investors during a Q3 presentation on Dec. 10.

“That's despite the fact we have not yet added RH Modern or Teen,” Gary says, referring to the galleries that display modern, minimalist furniture and furnishings, as well as its teen-centric furniture lines. “Both concepts are scheduled to be added in Atlanta in Q1 and will drive even higher sales increases.” While the Chicago RH store is the best performer in the country, Gary tells analysts all its galleries are producing. “We could not be more confident about our long-term goal of reaching $4B to $5B in North American revenues.
