Envistacom's new real estate deal in Duluth is all about expansion.

Envistacom, a tech company providing counterterrorism, cybersecurity and communications equipment, has just inked a 20k SF deal at Gwinnett Forest Business Center, a 26,500 SF flex office center in Duluth at 2150 Boggs Road. Colliers International's Andrew Waguespack brokered the deal.

At a time when tech companies have been flocking inside the Perimeter, Envistacom is an outlier for staying in the burbs. While Envistacom’s headquarters is in the Perimeter area, the company opted for the suburbs to expand its R&D initiatives. They are a key supplier and systems integrator for the US military, including fixed and mobile satellite systems. “Envistacom required significant design space, and this facility will provide about 100 new jobs," Envistacom officials say in an email.
