Ackerman Eyes 1M SF Spec in Braselton

Ackerman & Co could be building 1M SF of prime spec industrial space in Braselton. Ackerman's Kris Miller tells us his firm's looking at developing the project in the North Georgia town where it already owns Braselton 85 Distribution Center (here), a 440k SF bulk distribution warehouse it bought from Sealy & Co this past year.

Kris offered this tidbit just days before he's to appear as part of our panel at our Atlanta Capital Markets event on Sept. 17 at the St. Regis in Buckhead, starting 7:30am (you can sign up here). He'll be part of an all-star panel that will include North American Properties CIO Tim Perry, Paces Properties principal Merritt Lancaster, State Bank & Trust SVP Blake Snyder and SunTrust Bank Group VP Joe Pella. Kris previously told us that capital and debt are plentiful today because investors are averse to risk overseas.
