Seefried Pops Two Morrow Deals

Atlanta Industrial

Speaking of industrial, we caught up with Seefried Properties' Doug Smith (on right at a past Bisnow event), who highlighted two recent deals his firm captured at Southlake Distribution Center in Morrow. Jacobson Cos inked a 150k SF lease at 7139 Southlake Pkwy, which will serve as a 3PL distribution hub for a “nationally recognized food company that is combining a couple of warehousing operations out of state right here in Morrow,” Doug says. (Start planning your great Ritz Cracker Heist now.) Mohr Partners' Joe Lauinger brokered for the tenant. Seefried's Joseph Kriss also brokered for the landlord.

Doug also snagged Devgiri Exports, a rug distributor, into 112k SF at 7137 Southlake Pkwy (here). The company moved its distribution operation closer to its Atlanta HQ, Doug says. Joel & Granot Commercial Real Estate's Dave Smith brokered for the tenant. Doug says the recent reconstruction of the Hwy 54 bridge and I-75 Interchange has “increased traffic flow” at intersections “previously plagued by gridlock,” which has hampered landlords abilities to attract tenants out there. (And hampered your ability to get home in time to watch Jeopardy!)
