Google's new Atlanta data center is going to be double the size most anticipated. The search engine behemoth has filed a development of regional impact application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs to develop a four-story, 808,355 SF data center at 310 Riverside Pkwy in Lithia Springs. The Atlanta Business Chronicle previously reported that Google intended a $300M expansion of its data center in Douglas County, but estimated the total size at 500k SF. In DRI filings, Google estimates build-out of the project by 2016.
