LEASES

Pacific Rim Bistro just reopened after an extensive renovation. The Pan-Asian cuisine and sushi restaurant's upgrades were handled by Restaurants Consulting Group. The restaurant renewed its more than 5,000 SF lease at SunTrust Plaza with Portman Management's Brian Hogg and Krunali Parekh handling the negotiations.

Medtech inked a 10-year 11k SF lease for its HQ at Overlook II in Vinings. The technical school was represented by Carter's Dale Lewis with PM Realty Group's Chris Breeden and Parkway Properties' Bill Hollett representing the landlord.

Icon Commercial's Ryan Bowie is sitting pretty in his office after renewing and expanding Greystar at 10 Glenlake South in Sandy Springs. The company inked a nearly 6k SF lease. Highwoods Properties' Mike Wells represented the landlord.

SALES

Germania Property Investors sold its Alpharetta Commons to AmREIT for an undisclosed sum. Alpharetta Commons is a 94,500 SF shopping center on State Bridge Road and is anchored by Publix and Taco Mac. CB Richard Ellis' Chris Decoufle brokered the sale for Germania while CBRE's Van Wehr arranged the financing.

Marcus & Millichap's VP Sonny Molloy in Atlanta helped market and sell Sunset Lake Commons, an 80k SF shopping center anchored by Harris Teeter in Raleigh for $12.8M, or $145/SF. The Rosen Group was the buyer.

MANAGEMENT

RGRE just picked up the leasing assignment for Meridian Office Park, a 200k SF flex business park at Jimmy Carter and Peachtree Industrial Blvd. With just 30% of the park leased, the owners are offering $10/SF gross rates. RGRE's Ryan Goldstein and Aaron Karasik will lease.

PEOPLE

Grubb & Ellis' Luiza Adams has earned the Real Property Administrator designation from BOMA. Luiza serves as the single point-of-contact for Grubb's 800k SF office portfolio out of Atlanta.

ACCOLADES

We got Reznick Group's Jonathan Bartlett and Arnall Golden Gregory's partner Phil Skinner to send us this snapshot. The duo were part of a group called Sound Investment (a dozen professionals in the day and virtuosos by night) who sang the National Anthem opening last Sunday's Braves games against the Chicago Cubs at Turner Field. Wow! Talent in our midst.
