Patient access in the sprawling metro area is a challenge for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia. So the healthcare company has been establishing mini clinics throughout Atlanta to get closer to its 240k-member patient base, Kaiser's Philip Oullette (between Duke Realty's Jason Hinkel and Grady Health System's Craig Tindall) told more than 375 members at this morning's Bisnow Healthcare Real Estate Summit at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. Ackerman & Co.'s Kris Miller, CBRE's Lee Asher, Carter's Tom Wittenberg, and Arnall Golden Gregory's Scott Shuman (our awesome moderator) also sat on our illustrious panel. Kaiser wants more of these 5k to 6k SF medical offices, often in mixed-use or pure retail centers, Philip says. ?You can imagine the tremendous branding opportunity.?Lots more coverage where this came from tomorrow.
