CRE AND BARTIROMO
Ross Singletary Arcus Capital Partners Maria bartiromo CNBC CLosing Bell NYSE floor
Atlanta's own Ross Singletary, co-founder of Arcus Capital Partners, a wealth management firm housed at Two Buckhead Plaza—got to sit down with CNBC's Maria Bartiromo for a brief segment during the network's Closing Bell last Wednesday on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. During the segment touching on concerns that the recent gains on Wall Street may be coming to an end, Ross told Maria that his firm has been allocating client money into distressed commercial real estate funds that work directly with banks. He also said Arcus, which manages more than $700M in total assets, has been investing in floating-rate instruments: ?It actually paid lately to fight the Fed.? Despite his new-found TV chops, Ross rejected our suggestion of a guest arc on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
