We're referring to online jobs posting company CareerBuilder.com, which is hitting the street with a 100k SF RFP to possibly move its regional HQ out of Peachtree Corners, sources tell us. | |

| Currently, the company occupies about 100k SF at 5550 Peachtree Parkway (seen here). But sources say the company has sniffed around outside the Peachtree Corners submarket. Transwestern's Greg Baxendale is representing the company but declined to comment. And of course, the company has some time with its lease expiring in 2013. | |

| Speaking of Greg, he may not be willing to say much about CareerBuilder, but his career is building over at Transwestern. Greg was just promoted to SVP after being named the top-producing tenant rep in the company's Atlanta office. (Make sure to thank him for the free tickets to the gun show.) Some of his big deals are the 40k SF HQ for Big Green Egg in Tucker, the nearly 87k SF expansion for Enercon Services in Kennesaw, and the full-floor expansion and renewal (to a total of 43k SF) of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith law firm at 1180 Peachtree in Midtown. Great on the first half—what we wanted to hear from Greg though is how the second half of 2011 is shaping up. ?I feel really good about it,? he says (we're glad...based on the pic, you wouldn't like him when he's angry), adding that companies continue to ?recast deals? to achieve lower rents from hungry landlords. |
