Georgia's win with the Baxter Pharma plant in Social Circle put Atlanta on the biosciences map. (Any chance that means first crack at meals in pill form when they're developed?) That's Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce?s Hans Gant?s take on the recent decision by the pharma giant to  develop a $1B plant  here. Hans was part of a panel at the ?Georgia Moving Forward Breakfast,? hosted by Sterling Risk Advisors, Chamberlain Hrdlicka and Carr Riggs & Ingram last week at Villa Christina in Dunwoody, along with French Wolf & Farr?s Dorsey Farr, TPA Realty Services' Rick Bradshaw, Georgia Department of Economic Development's Carol Henderson, Hans, and Sterling Risk Advisors? Doug Rieder. ?It put us over the hump and in competition  with states like North Carolina and New Jersey in a real way,? Gant says.
