ATLANTA JOB REBOUND?

This recovery has been "sluggish," but Atlanta is poised to feel a strong rebound soon, says Mercer University's Dr. Roger Tutterow during our Atlanta State of Office last week at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. "We are a city that is used to outperforming the nation and outperforming it by a significant margin," Roger says. "We are moving in line with the rest of the nation in growth and payroll." As we head into 2013, job creation should get healthier in Atlanta. "As such, I believe next year we will outperform the nation in terms of job creation," he says. Roger expects us to add 40,000 jobs.
