AGG RENEWS EARLY

AGG RENEWS EARLY
No muss. No fuss. At least not for Arnall Golden Gregory, which has inked a  122k SF early renewal for 10 years at the home it anchored almost a decade ago at 171 17th St in Atlantic Station.

The deal was pushed by AGG, even though the firm had some  three years left  on its lease. Sources previously told us it wanted an early renewal or would pursue a very public search for alternative space. The new lease means AGG will remain at Atlantic Station until at least 2024 (at which point lawyers will be replaced by law-bots, which require much less space). While not specific, company officials say AGG will ?reconfigure its space? to help it grow from 137 attorneys to 190. This is the second  whopping office deal for the Atlanta Jones Lang LaSalle office in as many weeks. Last week, it brokered the Morris Manning & Martin renewal. JLL's Brad Armstrong  and David Demarest repped AGG, while Carter's Mike Shelly repped the landlord.
