|On Thanksgiving Day, Publix's Brenda Reid addressed the press at the opening of the annual Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless event. Hot turkey-and-fixings were served to 40,000 people gathering at the Georgia World Congress Center (a staggering number that makes us feel very thankful for what we have in our lives). Brenda shared the stage with rival Kroger, but no food fights broke out as the spirit of Thanksgiving prevailed.|
