Washington Humane Society Happy Hour!

We went to the Washington Humane Society Happy Hour at the Embassy Row Hotel Rooftop Bar.

Proceeds benefited the Washington Humane Society, which provides comfort and care to over 51,000 animals annually. We snapped Browne Academy's Shannon Casey and Karina Cano with Shannon's sister, UVA's Brenna Casey.

Guests enjoyed specials on cocktails such as the Sunny Side Up (silver rum, kiwi syrup, key lime, toasted marshmallow foam), Lame Duck (mezcal, clove roasted pineapple, lime, coconut porter), and Vice and Virtue (deep eddy grapefruit vodka, honey-lemongrass syrup, imbue petal). WHS services include shelter for homeless animals, a comprehensive adoption program, and off-site adoption events to find new families for animals. Here, one of the event hosts, WHS special events and development coordinator Rachel Thaler, is flanked by sustainable development consultant Bradley Hiller and US Department of Labor's Daniel Arp.
