Last night we headed to Capitale on K Street for the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs' Holiday Party!

We snapped Mayor Muriel Bowser's brother, Marvin Bowser, with the Office of LGBTQ Affairs Director Sheila Reid Alexander.

Guests enjoyed a festive party with a buffet station of delicious food, a live DJ and an open bar. Here the Ocean Conservancy's Keondra Bills Freemyn joins YWCA USA's Alicia Sanchez Gill and documentary filmmaker Aishah Shahidah Simmons.

The Mayor's Office of LGBTQ Affairs leads initiatives in the District that focus on the broader LGBTQ community when it comes to government relations, police relations, community health and other means of support.
