Moran Makes Way to McDermott

After 24 years in Congress, Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) is trying something new. He joined McDermott's DC office last week as a senior legislative adviser. He'll lobby in areas including defense, government contracting, trade, foreign governments and technology, the firm says. (He's definitely tech-savvy; this photograph comes from his active Twitter page.) While on the Hill, Jim co-founded the New Democratic Coalition and was a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee.
