Summer's Big Restaurant News

In case you missed it, Rose’s Luxury was named the best new restaurant in America by Bon Appetit. We chatted with chef Aaron Silverman about the huge honor. He doesn’t expect much to change, which is part of the restaurant's charm. Aaron also weighed in on the other big news: “I'm super excited. I miss those pork buns and rice cakes like it’s my job.” He’s talking about top talent David Chang, who will open Momofuku in CityCenterDC in 2015. The pork bun boss is from Northern Virginia, so it's a homecoming. If that wasn’t enough, Daniel Boulud’s DBGB will be open soon, and Peter Chang will open a restaurant in Rockville in 2015.
