Fundrise Starts Using Drones

Fundrise, the real estate crowdfunding company, is now using drones to pick which properties make it into the platform. Drone video gives an almost total view of the building and neighborhood, according to the Washington Business Journal. Properties on the Fundrise platform go through a lengthy due diligence that includes site visits and committee reviews, and now drone video footage. Less than 1% of the 250 deals submitted weekly make it into the platform and available for investment. [WBJ]
