Schupp Cos Plans New Development On Virginia Square Staples Site

A new hotel could soon be coming to Virginia Square, thanks to Schupp Cos.

The developer presented a plan last month to build a hotel on the site of the Staples store at 3401 Wilson Blvd, ARLnow reports. Schupp president Ray Schupp said the plans are still in the early stages, and they will have a better idea of the site's future in three to four months.

Schupp also recently developed a Hyatt hotel in Courthouse at 2401 Wilson Blvd. The single-story Staples along Wilson Blvd is one of the few undeveloped parcels left along the R-B Corridor's main drag. [ARL]
