WHAT HAPPENS IN LAS VEGAS... IS REPORTED IN BISNOW!

We weren't there personally. We've learned our lesson and plan to be next time. But thanks to Frank Pinto of Forrester Construction, whom we deputized briefly as Bisnow's Las Vegas Bureau Chief, we have some shocking pics of business actually getting done recently at ICSC.

In case you live in another galaxy, that's the annual retail convention that a couple weeks ago drew a record 50,000 to wander the 2 million SF of exhibit space at the Convention Center. And (for brokers, landlords, and developers) to sign leases with new retail tenants.

Forrester's group arrived at the Wynn on Friday and by Saturday night was ready for…business development! From left, Frank Pinto, Andrew Dondero, Jon Cadle, Scott Forrester, and Kevin Malpass.

Washington women were on the business scene, too: JBG's Audrey O'Cana and DeeAnn Donato.

Real deals got done: Rappaport's Bill Dickson and Opidian's Larry Barrett seem to be reviewing some documents, maybe even signing?

No party is official without the presence of notables Blake Esherick, Eric Price, Douglas Jemal, Robert Bobb, and Toby Millman, here at the DC economic partnership party at Wynn's Alsace Room Monday night.

And really official with the presence of DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, center, flanked by others whom our Bureau Chief neglected to jot down the names of. (See, this is harder work than you realize!) DC's party was followed by a Maryland luau for a mere 500 on the Sunset Terrace around the Wynn pool. And if that did not make the scene familiar enough for our locals, some went out afterwards to none other than Morton's and Capital Grille.Folks, you can do that in DC!

Via a contribution from Premier Blue Properties' Parham Shariat, right, we see him with Vick Baklayan, owner of a 50 chain retail store called$29.29 Shoe Warehouse.

Via a contribution from Holland & Knight's Lauren Rabbitt: from left, her colleague Vernon Lynch, NAI Capital's Christine Lee, and JRC Brands' Hanny Chan, at Tuesday's mobbed H&K party at the Wynn.
