Lowe's Canada is Building Two New Ontario Locations

Hot on the heels of its acquisition of 12 former Target sites, home improvement company Lowe’s Canada announced last week that construction is underway on two new Ontario locations in Ancaster and Mississauga, a $50M investment that will bring its total store count nationwide to 54 (37 of them in Ontario). The Target acquisitions enhance Lowe's Western Canada presence, with three locations in Saskatchewan, nine in Alberta and five in B.C. The Target portfolio purchase, worth $148M, includes the retailer’s $106M Milton distribution centre. Lowe's will open its 40th store in Saskatoon next month.
