There’s a lot of Phase 1 due diligence activity going on, says EBI’s Amanda Colby. She tells us that the environmental engineering company is currently upselling a suite of services, including sustainability for customers with large portfolios, instead of the more common one-time projects. This includes retrofittings, as clients are increasingly adding sustainability and energy to their corporate plans in order to get LEED certification and reduce resource consumption. As a result, the energy and sustainability group is getting particularly busy, so much so that they are adding staff. 2015 is bringing a real physical presence in Southern California, with smaller but busy offices in Atlanta, NYC and Burlington, MA.
