Related, Stanford Kick off Palo Alto Project

Related California and Stanford University have started construction on 2500 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, which will house 70 affordable apartments and 7k SF of retail. It's a project that's been in the works for 10 years and will bring much needed workforce housing for people who are employed with the Stanford Research Park, Stanford Real Estate managing director of asset management Tiffany Griego told The Registry. Stanford is expecting leasing to start in late summer 2016 with delivery that fall. The designer of the project is San Francisco-based David Baker Architects, and the general contractor is Pleasanton-based Seque Construction. [REG]
