Circles Records & Tapes Building To Become Apartments

Empire Commercial Development, an arm of Scottsdale-based Empire Group, plans to develop 300 apartments and ground-level restaurants on the site of the Circles Records & Tapes Building in Phoenix.

The record store of that name was closed in 2010 by the sellers of the property, Leonard and Angela Singer. Empire bought the property for more than $2.6M, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. Colliers International's Larry Ortega and Michael Milic oversaw the deal. [PBJ]
