MM Partners Plans $12M Mixed-Use Development At 17th And Fairmount

MM Partners has announced plans for a $12M mixed-use development centered around the old A.F. Bornot Dye Works building at 17th and Fairmount.

The property, which also includes an old elevator factory, two warehouses and a vacant lot, will be converted into 17 loft apartments (to be called the A.F. Bornot lofts), two for-sale townhomes and 25k SF of retail split up into five units, according to Philly.com. There will also be underground parking.

Both factories at the site have long been abandoned, but MM Partners' renovation will have to respect the Bornot factory in particular, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. [Philly]
