A large, three-tower mixed-use development is in the planning phase, set to be built in Kensington at 2621-67 Frankford Ave.

The project, to be called Woods Square and developed by an eponymous LLC, calls for a one-story base across the length of the property with three, four-story residential towers built on top. The project is expected to total 167k SF, with 20k of that devoted to 11 retail spaces on the first floor.

The residential towers are set to contain a total of 178 apartments, with the interstitial space on top of the first floor to be two community roof terraces, with garden space, gazebos and walking paths.

14 garden apartments are also planned for the north and south of the building, to sit next to 20 parking spaces. A 65-car parking garage is also planned for beneath the building.
