Young Lawyers!

Last night we also headed to happy hour with the Young Lawyers Network. We snapped the hosts, Washington Council of Lawyers’ Nancy Lopez and DC Bar Foundation’s Danny Reed bookending Lewis Baach’s Courtney Weiner; at right, Arent Fox’s Alison Andersen.

The Young Lawyers Network helps new DC lawyers engage with the Bar Foundation, a non-profit supporting legal representation for DC residents. Here, Dechert’s Paul Lee, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State’s Greg Lipper, and Sara Safriet, all WCL board members.

120 lawyers, legal professionals and law students came to network and strengthen the public’s interest in lawyering. Here, Zipin, Amster & Greenberg’s Irene Castro, New America Foundation’s Aleta Sprague, Crowell & Moring’s Dalal Hasan and Louisa Marion, and Gore Brothers’ Sarah Surwit.

City Tap House provided wings, hand-cut fries and bacon popcorn with drink specials. Here, DoJ’s Alfredo Martinez and NRCC’s Jenna Strom.
